  • Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is by 10:00am.

    Need a little extra time? Late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.

  • Yes. Reception is open daily from 7:00am to 9:00pm.

    If you're arriving later, we'll provide after-hours access instructions before your arrival so you can check in smoothly. Please let us know your arrival time along with your email address so that we can send you after hour procedures and lock box number.

  • Yes.

    Limited onsite parking is available for NZ$35 per night on a first come, first served basis.

    There are also nearby public parking options within walking distance if onsite parking is full.

  • Absolutely.

    Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel for all guests.

  • Yes.
    Start your morning with our continental breakfast and freshly made barista coffee, available on the ground floor daily, before heading out to explore Wellington.

  • While we don't have a full-service restaurant, we're surrounded by some of Wellington's best cafés, restaurants and bars, with Cuba Street and Courtenay Place just a short walk away.

  • For stays of more than three nights, your room will receive a housekeeping service on the third day.

    Fresh towels and amenities are always available from Reception upon request.

    Complimentary luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out during reception hours.

  • Only certified assistance or guide dogs are permitted.

  • Yes.

    The Viv is a completely smoke-free property. Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside guest rooms or hotel facilities.

  • Visitors are welcome during the day. For the comfort and security of all guests, non-registered visitors are not permitted in guest rooms after 6:00pm.

    Wellington's tap water is clean, fresh and perfectly safe to drink.

    Every room includes climate control so you can adjust the temperature for your comfort.

  • The Viv is approximately 15–20 minutes by car from Wellington Airport, depending on traffic.

  • Yes.

    Our Reception team is happy to arrange a taxi for you during reception hours.

  • A NZ$100 pre-authorisation is required at check-in. This is released after your departure, subject to a room inspection. Depending on your bank, the funds may take several business days to become available again.

  • Please contact us as soon as possible.

    Lost property is held for up to three months (excluding perishable items), and we'll do our best to reunite you with your belongings.
